First official bike ride!

  I was signed up to do 65 miles with Amy and Andy. Unfortunately they weren't able to come. I am so glad my mom was willing to get up early and drive with me down to Thanksgiving Point. I haven't done as much training as I wanted and my knee has been giving me a hard time so I took a few weeks off. Summer was a little crazy to. When I got there  I ran into my friend alicia (i was so nervous and had know idea what to do so i am so glad i ran into her). She waited for me to get my packet and I got to start the ride with her. I told the lady at the check in i was changing my distance and told me just ride whatever. So my time is for doing the 35 miler (which really ended up being 40 miles) my time might be a little off we got a snack stop and I stopped to ask for directions. It was fun though and I cant wait to do another ride!
