Wind WARNING!!!

Last spring my mom tried to talk me into removing the big pine tree in front of the house (she hated it) I liked it.. (really didnt want to worry about getting it removed) anyway... the wind storm helped us with that. I am so grateful that tree didnt come in the house but it did enough damage outside... A foot closer and i am thinking it would have been in the living room.







 We knew we needed a new roof soon but not this soon! We were planning on getting a new one next summer.. nope we will be getting one this winter. (fingers crossed the insurance guy agrees) shingles were every where it was a mess! Thank goodness it didnt rain or snow to bad that night we would probably been in some trouble.


A new garage door.. (who would of thought)


And a new fence this summer...

Last but not least the dish... 

We are very lucky it didnt do more damage or any one was hurt. I am also glad the weather has been nice to get it cleaned up as much as we can it still likes like a disaster out side.  Hope no one else got it this bad and everyone is ok.

    Holy cow! We didn't get hardly any wind. My brother lost some shingles too though. Crazy wind! Lucky it didn't do more damage. Hope you can get the roof fixed asap.

    i can understand why you didn't want to get rid of the tree. but look at all the fun you'll get to have with all of your shiny new things! really happy that you guys are okay and the damage was just minimal.

    I can't believe that! You guys sure got the worst of it!! I am sure your insurance will pay...or at least I hope so!:) And look at the bright side - that pine tree is now gone and that will never happen again.
